- 1.Which expression means the same as a × a × a?
- 2.The solution to an inequality is n ≤ 5. Write down the largest integer value of n that satisfies this inequality.
- 3.The simultaneous equations 2x + 3y = 12 and x − y = 1 are given. Work out the value of y.

- 13.ABCD is a parallelogram. A has coordinates (−3, 1), B has coordinates (2, 1) and C has coordinates (4, 4). Work out the coordinates of D.
- 14.Solve 6x − 5 = 3x + 13.
- 15.A cinema sells adult tickets for £10 and child tickets for £6. A family group buys 9 tickets in total, spending £74. Work out how many adult tickets were bought.
