- 1.Write down the coordinates of the point that is 4 units to the left of the origin and 7 units up.

- 11.The first five terms of a quadratic sequence are 2, 5, 10, 17, 26. Work out the next term in the sequence.
- 12.For the graph of y = 1/x, where x cannot be zero, which of these statements is correct?
- 13.Write down the coefficient of p in the expression 7 − 4p + 9q.
- 14.A plumber charges a £35 call-out fee plus £20 for each hour worked, h. On a certain job the total charge was £115. Work out how many hours the plumber worked.
- 15.The point F has x-coordinate −1 and lies 6 units above the x-axis. Write down the coordinates of F.
