- 1.A circle has diameter 10 cm. Using π = 3.14, work out the circumference of the circle.
- 2.A tangent touches a circle with centre O at the point P. Q is a point on the tangent. Write down the circle fact that tells you the size of angle OPQ.
- 3.A circular table mat has diameter 20 cm. Yasmin has a 70 cm length of ribbon and sews it around the edge of the mat with no overlap. Using π = 3.14, work out how much ribbon is left over after going around the mat once.

- 5.A circle has centre O. Radii OA and OB are drawn, together with the arc AB, enclosing a sector. The straight chord AB is also drawn. Write down the name of the region enclosed between the chord AB and the arc AB.

- 11.Every point on a circle is exactly the same distance from one particular point. Write down the name of that point.
- 12.Every diameter of a circle is an example of a more general type of straight line joining two points on the circle. Which term names that more general type of line?
- 13.A trundle wheel has a diameter of 0.5 m. It is rolled along the ground and makes 20 complete turns. Using π = 3.14, work out the total distance rolled, in metres.
- 14.A circle has a radius of 3 cm. Work out the diameter of the circle.
- 15.A circle has circumference 31.4 cm. Using π = 3.14, work out the radius of the circle.
