- 1.A trundle wheel has a diameter of 0.5 m. It is rolled along the ground and makes 20 complete turns. Using π = 3.14, work out the total distance rolled, in metres.
- 2.Write down the term for the distance all the way around the edge of a circle.
- 3.A circle has two straight radii drawn from the centre to the edge, together with the arc between them. Write down the name of the region enclosed by these two radii and the arc.
- 4.A tangent to a circle touches the circle at exactly one point, P. Work out the size of the angle between the tangent and the radius drawn to P.

- 11.A circle has centre O. PQ, RS and TU are three chords of the circle, and only one of them passes through O. Write down what this tells you about that chord.
- 12.A tangent touches a circle with centre O at the point P. Q is a point on the tangent. Write down the circle fact that tells you the size of angle OPQ.
- 13.A circle is drawn on a page. Write down how many radii can be drawn in the circle.
- 14.A circle has a diameter of 4 cm. Work out the radius of the circle.
- 15.Two points on a circle divide its circumference into two arcs of different lengths. Write down the name given to the shorter of the two arcs.
