- 3.A square has sides of length 7 cm. Work out its area.
- 4.A tank holds 3.2 m³ of water. Work out this volume in litres.
- 5.A jug holds 750 ml of water. Work out what fraction of a litre this is.
- 6.A rectangular notice board measures 150 cm by 80 cm. Work out its area in m².
- 7.A recipe uses 0.75 kg of sugar. Work out how many grams of sugar this is.

- 15.A plumber charges a £45 call-out fee, plus £28 for each hour worked. She works on a job for 3 hours 30 minutes, and her hours are billed by rounding up to the next whole hour. Work out the total amount she charges.
