- 1.Three angles meet at a single point on one side of a straight line. Two of the angles are 48° and 65°. Work out the third angle.
- 2.A vertical line passes through the point (5, 2). Write down the equation of this line.

- 11.A survey team measures the angle between two fences with a protractor and gets a reading of 254°. What type of angle is this?
- 12.A plumber charges a £45 call-out fee, plus £28 for each hour worked. She works on a job for 3 hours 30 minutes, and her hours are billed by rounding up to the next whole hour. Work out the total amount she charges.
- 13.A map has a scale of 1 : 20 000. The distance between two villages is 3.4 km in real life. How long is this distance on the map, in centimetres?
- 14.A footpath sign shows a distance of 0.45 km to the next village. Work out this distance in metres.
- 15.A circular coin has a diameter of 3 cm. Work out the circumference of the coin. Give your answer in terms of π.
