- 1.A church tower is due east of a village. What is the three-figure bearing of the church tower from the village?

- 11.Two similar ponds have perimeters in the ratio 4 : 11. The perimeter of the larger pond is 88 m. Work out the perimeter of the smaller pond.
- 12.A car's windscreen wiper blade is 40 cm long and sweeps through an angle of 110° as it wipes the glass. Using π = 3.14, work out the area of glass it wipes, to the nearest cm².
- 13.A circular pizza base has a radius of 12 cm. Work out the area of the pizza base. Use π = 3.14.
- 14.A cake recipe takes 135 minutes from start to finish. Write this time as hours and minutes.
- 15.A textbook contains the instruction 'Draw AB' and, on the next line, the statement 'AB = 5 cm'. Which statement about the notation AB is correct?
