- 1.A is the point (1, 3) and B is the point (7, 3). Work out the coordinates of the midpoint of AB.
- 2.A rectangular name card has a perimeter of 30 cm. The card is 9 cm long. Work out the width of the card.
- 3.The point A(2, 5) is translated to the point B(7, 3). Write down the column vector that describes this translation.
- 4.An angle measures 108°. Write down the name given to an angle of this size.
- 5.In one circle, chord PQ is 6 cm long, chord RS is 10 cm long, chord TU is 14 cm long and chord VW is 15 cm long. Write down which of these chords lies closest to the centre of the circle.
- 6.In parallelogram ABCD the vertices are labelled in order round the shape, so angle A and angle B are at the two ends of the same side. Angle A is 70°. Work out the size of angle B.
- 7.Triangle ABC has angle A = 40°, angle B = 65° and AB = 10 cm. Triangle DEF has angle D = 40°, angle E = 65° and DE = 10 cm. Which condition proves the two triangles are congruent?

- 10.Triangle ABC has AB = 9 cm, BC = 6 cm and angle A = 35°. Triangle DEF has DE = 9 cm, EF = 6 cm and angle D = 35°. Which of the following correctly identifies the condition shown here?
- 11.Triangle ABC is similar to triangle PQR. Side AB is 8 cm and corresponds to side PQ, which is 12 cm. Side AC is 6 cm and corresponds to side PR. Work out the length of PR.
- 12.A train leaves Leeds at 08:47 and arrives in London at 11:05. Work out how long the journey takes.
- 13.Two circles are drawn with the same centre but different radii. Write down the term used to describe this pair of circles.
- 14.The column vector r has top number 2 and bottom number 6. Which of these column vectors is parallel to r?
- 15.Rectangle ABCD has vertices A(−1, 2), B(4, 2), C(4, 5) and D(−1, 5). The rectangle is translated so that C moves to (0, −1). Write down the coordinates of the image of A.
