- 1.Write down the column vector, from the options given, that would move a point to the right and downwards.
- 2.Point E is at (4, 2). It is rotated 180° about the point (1, 1). Work out the coordinates of the image of point E.
- 3.A garden bed is designed as a trapezium. The two parallel sides are 8 m and 12 m, and the perpendicular distance between them is 5 m. Grass seed covers 4 m² per bag, sold only in whole bags. Work out how many bags of grass seed are needed.

- 5.A straight line touches the edge of a circle at exactly one point and does not cross into the circle at all. Write down the term for this line.
- 6.A tent's sloping side makes an angle of 45° with the ground. The sloping side is 3√2 m long. Using the exact value of sin 45°, work out the exact height of the tent.

- 9.Two straight lines AB and CD cross at point O. Angle AOC = 74°. Work out angle AOD.
- 10.A rectangular photograph is 12 cm long and 5 cm wide. Work out the perimeter of the photograph.

- 12.A polygon has 9 sides. What is the name of this polygon?
- 13.Write down which quadrant contains the point (−3, 5) when plotted on a coordinate grid.
- 14.A photograph is 10 cm wide and 15 cm tall. It is enlarged to make a similar poster that is 40 cm wide. The poster costs £0.80 per centimetre of its height to print, based on its full height. Work out the cost of printing the poster.
