- 1.A parallelogram has a base of 4 cm and a perpendicular height of 17 cm. Work out the area of the parallelogram.
- 2.In parallelogram PQRS, angle P = 65°. Which reason correctly explains why angle R = 65°?
- 3.Every point on a circle is exactly the same distance from one particular point. Write down the name of that point.
- 4.A circular table mat has diameter 20 cm. Yasmin has a 70 cm length of ribbon and sews it around the edge of the mat with no overlap. Using π = 3.14, work out how much ribbon is left over after going around the mat once.

- 8.A rectangular photograph is 12 cm long and 5 cm wide. Work out the perimeter of the photograph.
- 9.A garden bed is designed as a trapezium. The two parallel sides are 8 m and 12 m, and the perpendicular distance between them is 5 m. Grass seed covers 4 m² per bag, sold only in whole bags. Work out how many bags of grass seed are needed.
- 10.Shape S is enlarged by a scale factor of 3, centre the origin. A vertex of S is at (2, 1). Work out the coordinates of the image of this vertex.
- 11.Work out the distance between the points (−3, 4) and (5, −2).
- 12.A triangle has vertices A(0, 0), B(10, 0) and C(5, 12). Work out the area of the triangle.
- 13.A trundle wheel has a diameter of 0.5 m. It is rolled along the ground and makes 20 complete turns. Using π = 3.14, work out the total distance rolled, in metres.
- 14.A bottle holds 2 litres of water. A glass holds 250 ml. Work out how many of these glasses can be filled from one full bottle.
- 15.Point A and point B are 5 cm apart. How many points are exactly 4 cm from A and exactly 3 cm from B?
