- 1.A pin on a map is at grid reference (5, 2). It is moved by the vector . Write down its new grid reference.

- 11.A solid has 10 vertices and 15 edges. Using the formula F + V − E = 2, work out how many faces it has.

- 13.A map has a scale of 1 : 25000. A distance between two points measures 2 cm on the map. What is the real distance, in kilometres?
- 14.A designer creates a repeating tile pattern. Each tile is translated from the one before it by the column vector with top number 4.5 and bottom number −2.5 (in centimetres). The first tile has its bottom-left corner at (1.5, 3). Work out the coordinates of the bottom-left corner of the third tile.
- 15.A is the point (1, 3) and B is the point (7, 3). Work out the coordinates of the midpoint of AB.
