- 1.Write 3 hours 45 minutes as a decimal number of hours.
- 2.A jug holds 2 litres. Given that 1 litre = 1000 cm³, work out the capacity of the jug in cm³.

- 4.Work out how many seconds there are in 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

- 12.A glass holds 250 ml of squash. Work out how many of these glasses are needed to fill a 1 litre bottle.
- 13.A water tank is a cuboid measuring 30 cm × 20 cm × 10 cm. The tank is full of water. Work out how many litres of water it holds.
- 14.A smoothie recipe combines 350 cm³ of mango juice with 650 cm³ of orange juice. Work out the total volume of the smoothie in litres.
- 15.A lorry is carrying a load of mass m tonnes. Given that 1 tonne = 1000 kg, write down an expression for the mass of the load in kilograms.
