"y = 5" mixes up the coordinates, using the x-value of 5 to write a y-equation. "y = 2" is the equation of the horizontal line through (5, 2), not the vertical one. "x = 2" uses the correct letter but the wrong coordinate, the y-value of 2 instead of the x-value of 5.
