- 1.Write these decimals in order, starting with the smallest: 0.6, 0.55, 0.601, 0.5, 0.56

Work out how many different soup-and-sandwich combinations are available on a normal day.
- 9.Sam rounds 0.070268 to 3 significant figures and writes 0.0703. Which of these statements is correct?
- 10.The thickness of a sheet of card is 0.02384 cm. Write this thickness correct to 2 significant figures.
- 11.The density of a type of plastic is 0.9 g/cm³. Work out this density in kg/m³.
- 12.A charity raffle sells 240 tickets at £1.85 each. 40% of the money raised is given to a local hospital. Work out how much money the hospital receives.
- 13.A circle has a radius of 3 cm. Which of these is the exact area of the circle?
- 14.A bag holds 5 different sweets. Noah takes 2 of the sweets out of the bag together, so the order in which he takes them does not matter. Work out how many different pairs of sweets he could take.
- 15.A 3-character PIN starts with one letter chosen from A, B, C, D and E, followed by two different digits chosen from 1 to 9 (no digit may be used twice in the same PIN). Work out how many different PINs are possible.
