- 1.Write down the coefficient of p in the expression 7 − 4p + 9q.

- 14.A number, n, is tripled and then 4.5 is added. The result is 22.5. Form an equation and solve it to find n.
- 15.A rectangular sheep pen has perimeter P, length l and width w, connected by the formula P = 2l + 2w. A farmer has 60 m of fencing for the perimeter and sets the width at 8 m. Work out the length of the pen.
