- 1.A sector of a circle has angle 120° and an arc length of 31.4 cm. Using π = 3.14, work out the radius of the circle.
- 2.At a point on a straight line, two angles are formed. One of them is 63°. Work out the size of the other angle.
- 3.A trapezium has parallel sides of 16 cm and 24 cm, and a perpendicular height of 7 cm. Work out the area of the trapezium.
- 4.Write down the column vector, from the options given, that would move a point to the right and downwards.

- 8.A construction for the perpendicular bisector of AB begins by opening a pair of compasses to more than half the length of AB, then drawing an arc centred at A. What is the next step?
- 9.A straight transversal crosses a pair of parallel lines. At one crossing point, the angle between the transversal and a parallel line is 118°. Work out the size of the co-interior (allied) angle at the other crossing point.
- 10.A recipe uses 0.75 kg of sugar. Work out how many grams of sugar this is.
- 11.In a right-angled triangle one of the other two angles is 45°, and the side opposite that 45° angle is 7 cm. Work out the length of the hypotenuse. Give your answer to 1 decimal place.
- 12.Triangle XYZ has angle X = 90°. Angle Y = 34°. Work out angle Z.
- 13.A sector of a circle has radius 6 cm and angle 150°. Using π = 3.14, work out the perimeter of the sector.
- 14.A bearing is described as being exactly halfway between north and east, measured clockwise. What is the three-figure bearing?
