- 11.A cheetah runs at a steady speed of 25 metres per second. Work out this speed in kilometres per hour.
- 12.Work out the total cost of 3 pens at 45p each and one notebook at £2.35. Give your answer in pounds.
- 13.A jar of jam costs £2.35. Tom buys 3 jars. He says the total cost is more than £7. Work out the exact total cost, and state whether Tom's claim is correct.
- 14.A flight departs at 21:35 and lands at 06:10 the following morning. Work out the total flight time.
- 15.A market trader buys 8 melons at £1.35 each. He sells all of them for a total of £15.60. Work out his profit.
