- 10.Ffion is paid £11.20 per hour. She works 6 hours on Monday and 4.5 hours on Tuesday. Work out her total pay for the two days.
- 11.A cyclist travels 45 km in 3 hours at a constant speed. Work out the cyclist's average speed, in km/h.
- 12.A 5 kg bag of potatoes costs £4.50. Work out the cost per kilogram.
- 13.A block of wood has a mass of 60 g and a volume of 100 cm³. Work out the density of the block, in g/cm³.
- 14.Jamal is paid £54 for working 6 hours. Work out his rate of pay, in £ per hour.
- 15.A metal cylinder has a mass of 356.5 g and a volume of 47 cm³. Work out the density of the cylinder, in g/cm³, to 1 decimal place.
