- 1.Work out (5 × 10⁴) ÷ (2 × 10⁻²). Give your answer in standard form.

- 13.A sponsored walk is 36 km long. Aisha has completed 8/12 of the walk. Work out how far she has walked.
- 14.A washing machine costs £320 before VAT. VAT is charged at 20%. Work out the total price including VAT.
- 15.By listing systematically, work out how many two-digit multiples of 5 can be made using the digits 0, 3 and 5, if each digit can be used at most once and the number cannot start with 0.
