- 1.Work out an estimate for 6.8 × 41, by rounding each number to 1 significant figure.

- 13.An allotment is divided into two plots in the ratio 2:3. The larger plot has an area of 18 m². Work out the fraction of the total area taken up by the smaller plot.

- 15.The mass of a radioactive sample, in grams, n years after it was first weighed is modelled by M = 200 × (1/2)ⁿ. Work out the mass the model gives after 3 years.
