- 1.Work out ∛(−27) + ∛8
- 2.In a photo album the ratio of colour photos to black-and-white photos is 9 : 4. Work out the number of black-and-white photos as a fraction of the number of colour photos.

- 14.A box holds 140 pens. 25% of the pens are red. Work out how many of the pens are red.
